Commercial Reflection
When I was working on my commercial I had to learn how to use capcut. I already knew how to put pictures and videos into capcut but I didn't know how to add transitions or sounds. In order to know how to do these thing I found a YouTube video explaining how to use capcut. I also learned that I can adjust the amount of time each video or picture is in the commercial for. When I put my voiceovers into the commercial I had to adjust the picture lengths to fit the voiceovers in the time that the picture was up. Because the song I wanted to use wasn't in capcut's song selection I decided to find the song on YouTube and screen record it. I then put the part of the song that I want to use in the video by selecting video sounds from my camera roll. After I put the song into the commercial I learned how to edit it so that the noise would fade in and out.
I learned a lot about the process of putting a video together. The YouTube video I watched explained how to use capcut very well. While watching it I learned how to add transitions, sounds, effects, voiceovers, and more. I also learned how to add text to the video. I learned how to put the video in order as well. I made a script for the voiceovers and that helped a lot. When I did the voiceovers, I used my script. It is important to have a script because without one I wouldn't have known what to say for my voiceovers. I also needed to be patient because if I ended up having to change the length of one of the pictures or videos then I would also need to move my voiceovers to fit with their pictures.
In order to make my next project better than this one, I will probably use more effects or better effects. I can also have better sounds. Another thing I can do to make my next project better is spend more time working on it. I also think I would improve if I speak more clearly in my voiceovers. I can also use more text in the commercial to explain things better and in more detail. Something else I could do to improve next time is be clearer on my blogs when explaining my process for making said project. I could also get right to the point on my blogs.
