Today I learned how to use capcut. I found a youtube video explaining how it works. I then used capcut to start making my commercial. The first thing I did on capcut was press the New project button. The second thing I did was name the project All About Me Commercial. Then I put the pictures and videos I chose into the project. After I put the pictures and videos into capcut, I put them into the order I chose previously. I put them in order by tapping on each picture in the order I wanted them in.

Since I wanted to transition from one picture to the next, I found some transitions to put for each picture. There were 9 transitions that showed up as results from me looking up transitions in the effects tab. I decided on 5 different transitions so that each picture would have one. I had planned on to use some animation with some of the pictures but I decided to not do this. Then I started looking over my script that I made a few days ago to see what I would say for each picture. After looking over the script I started doing my voiceovers for each picture. I then did the voiceovers and chose how long each segment would be according to the length of each voiceover.

One of my next steps will be to add in the videos I chose to use. Another thing I still need to do is add the song I chose to play at a specific part of the commercial. I will also need to add transitions into and exiting the videos. I do need to still do some voiceovers so I will do that between now and my next blog post. I will also need to watch the commercial and see if anything need more editing or not.

I asked my friend Conner to review by movie. I wasn't really sure what he would think, but I was excited to get his reaction. He is in my class, so we could watch it together. The first time we watched it, he laughed when my parents found out I was invisible. He thought it was funny that my dad was looking for me in the dishwasher. He also laughed when I stole my dad's breakfast.  When we got to the part where I put chocolate sauce on my brother's bagel, he asked why my hand was in the shot. I explained that I had thought about that before we shot the footage. I decided that since the movie was shot from my perspective and I didn't know that I was invisible, I would have been able to see my hand. As a result, I thought it was okay to include that shot. My Pitch

Pitch A:   A boy is watching a scary movie with his brother when he hears the doorbell ring. Pitch B:   A boy wakes up one morning and realizes his family members can’t see him. In Pitch A, a boy and his brother are home alone watching a scary movie. They are worried they may have made the wrong choice of movie. Suddenly they hear knocking at their door. They pause the movie and listen. They hear more knocking and unusual sounds outside. Finally, they work up the courage to answer the door… and it’s the pizza delivery man. In Pitch B, a boy wakes up one morning and heads to the kitchen as usual. But when he gets there and says hello to his mother, she can hear him, but she can’t see him. He is literally right in front of her, and she cannot see him. Once he realizes what’s happening, he decides to go for mischief. A funny morning of pranks follows. Re-Editing Blog

After I looked over the movie at the end of my last blog, I found some things that I wanted to change. One of these things was the title screen showing the actor's names. It looked like the picture included in this blog, but I wanted the names to be center aligned. After I changed it in the PowerPoint I made my title screens on, I used the Snipping Tool to cut out the slide and save it as a PNG file. I then uploaded the picture to CapCut, and placed the original. After this, I edited it to be in the movie for the same length of time as my other title screens.  Another thing I had to change was the Music By title screen since I didn't have anything on it. I didn't have anything on it because I wasn't sure my movie needed music, however I knew it was a requirement. So I needed to find a song and get that edited in to the movie.
