My group for the Music Video

    I've decided to do the music video project independently. This way I’ll be able to choose the song and make all of the decisions on my own, rather than having to do what someone else wants. Also, I can work on it when it works for me. Another benefit is that I can choose whether I want to do it at home or somewhere else. One other advantage is that I don't have to ask someone what they want me to do for the video.

    The song I chose is Counting Stars. It is by the band OneRepublic. I like it because it has great lyrics and it makes you want to dance. I also really like it because I went to see a concert by OneRepublic recently. I like that this song is about a guy who is busy thinking instead of sleeping, which I sometimes do too.

    I chose to use this song because I think it will be a great song for a music video. In fact the music video made by OneRepublic has 3.8 billion views on YouTube. Also, its one of my favorite songs to sing at home. Another reason that I chose this song is because it is an upbeat and popular song. On eof my favorite line in the song is "Everything that drowns me makes me wanna fly" because this line is saying that I feel good when I acomplish something difficult.


    I think it is going to be fun to make this video because this is one of my favorite songs. I might film the video in my backyard but I don't know yet. I think it would be cool if I could incorporate some sort of animations into the video. For example I think it would be cool if when the song says "Take that money, watch it burn" I put some animated flames at the bottom of the screen or something. I'm excited to start my story board and get busy on the video.

I asked my friend Conner to review by movie. I wasn't really sure what he would think, but I was excited to get his reaction. He is in my class, so we could watch it together. The first time we watched it, he laughed when my parents found out I was invisible. He thought it was funny that my dad was looking for me in the dishwasher. He also laughed when I stole my dad's breakfast.  When we got to the part where I put chocolate sauce on my brother's bagel, he asked why my hand was in the shot. I explained that I had thought about that before we shot the footage. My Pitch

Pitch A:   A boy is watching a scary movie with his brother when he hears the doorbell ring. Pitch B:   A boy wakes up one morning and realizes his family members can’t see him. In Pitch A, a boy and his brother are home alone watching a scary movie. They are worried they may have made the wrong choice of movie. Suddenly they hear knocking at their door. They pause the movie and listen. They hear more knocking and unusual sounds outside. Finally, they work up the courage to answer the door… and it’s the pizza delivery man. In Pitch B, a boy wakes up one morning and heads to the kitchen as usual. But when he gets there and says hello to his mother, she can hear him, but she can’t see him. He is literally right in front of her, and she cannot see him. Once he realizes what’s happening, he decides to go for mischief. A funny morning of pranks follows. Re-Editing Blog

After I looked over the movie at the end of my last blog, I found some things that I wanted to change. One of these things was the title screen showing the actor's names. It looked like the picture included in this blog, but I wanted the names to be center aligned. After I changed it in the PowerPoint I made my title screens on, I used the Snipping Tool to cut out the slide and save it as a PNG file. I then uploaded the picture to CapCut, and placed the original. After this, I edited it to be in the movie for the same length of time as my other title screens.  Another thing I had to change was the Music By title screen since I didn't have anything on it. I didn't have anything on it because I wasn't sure my movie needed music, however I knew it was a requirement. So I needed to find a song and get that edited in to the movie.
