Today I finished editing my video. I started by converting the audio tracks from a video to just audio so that the video wouldn’t be too large of a file. Then I downloaded a copy of my video to review it. I went through it a few times and made notes about what needed to be fixed. I looked for places where the words didn’t quite line up with my lips. I also looked for places where there was a bad edit and I needed to make the video a little shorter or a little longer. I also looked for places where I needed to add transitions.

Then I went back into Microsoft ClipChamp and started making those adjustments. The first thing I did was to add more time showing a sky full of stars to cover up some of the video that I really didn’t need because there weren’t any lyrics in that part. To do that, I had to cut the video that was there at the end of the lyrics, delete the extra video and then extend the photo to fill the space.

The next thing I did, was to fix the video in two areas where I didn’t think my lips lined up with the words very well. To do this, I first removed the video I had already. Then I dropped in the original video for this section, but I was able to add it as a separate video down below. This way, I wouldn’t move everything else that I had already lined up. Then I spent a lot of time watching this part over and over, moving the new video around and trying to line it up. It took a long time, but I finally nailed it. Then I cut the parts before and after the clip that I needed. And then I put it back into the video in the right spot and watched it again to make sure everything looked good. I did this for two separate sections of the video. When I was all done, I exported my video and copied the embed link in case I’ll need that when I put it into my blog. I think I did a good job.

I asked my friend Conner to review by movie. I wasn't really sure what he would think, but I was excited to get his reaction. He is in my class, so we could watch it together. The first time we watched it, he laughed when my parents found out I was invisible. He thought it was funny that my dad was looking for me in the dishwasher. He also laughed when I stole my dad's breakfast.  When we got to the part where I put chocolate sauce on my brother's bagel, he asked why my hand was in the shot. I explained that I had thought about that before we shot the footage. I decided that since the movie was shot from my perspective and I didn't know that I was invisible, I would have been able to see my hand. As a result, I thought it was okay to include that shot. My Pitch

Pitch A:   A boy is watching a scary movie with his brother when he hears the doorbell ring. Pitch B:   A boy wakes up one morning and realizes his family members can’t see him. In Pitch A, a boy and his brother are home alone watching a scary movie. They are worried they may have made the wrong choice of movie. Suddenly they hear knocking at their door. They pause the movie and listen. They hear more knocking and unusual sounds outside. Finally, they work up the courage to answer the door… and it’s the pizza delivery man. In Pitch B, a boy wakes up one morning and heads to the kitchen as usual. But when he gets there and says hello to his mother, she can hear him, but she can’t see him. He is literally right in front of her, and she cannot see him. Once he realizes what’s happening, he decides to go for mischief. A funny morning of pranks follows. Re-Editing Blog

After I looked over the movie at the end of my last blog, I found some things that I wanted to change. One of these things was the title screen showing the actor's names. It looked like the picture included in this blog, but I wanted the names to be center aligned. After I changed it in the PowerPoint I made my title screens on, I used the Snipping Tool to cut out the slide and save it as a PNG file. I then uploaded the picture to CapCut, and placed the original. After this, I edited it to be in the movie for the same length of time as my other title screens.  Another thing I had to change was the Music By title screen since I didn't have anything on it. I didn't have anything on it because I wasn't sure my movie needed music, however I knew it was a requirement. So I needed to find a song and get that edited in to the movie.
