My Pitch

Pitch A:  A boy is watching a scary movie with his brother when he hears the doorbell ring.

Pitch B:  A boy wakes up one morning and realizes his family members can’t see him.

In Pitch A, a boy and his brother are home alone watching a scary movie. They are worried they may have made the wrong choice of movie. Suddenly they hear knocking at their door. They pause the movie and listen. They hear more knocking and unusual sounds outside. Finally, they work up the courage to answer the door… and it’s the pizza delivery man.

In Pitch B, a boy wakes up one morning and heads to the kitchen as usual. But when he gets there and says hello to his mother, she can hear him, but she can’t see him. He is literally right in front of her, and she cannot see him. Once he realizes what’s happening, he decides to go for mischief. A funny morning of pranks follows.

My final decision: Since I actually don’t love scary movies, I’ve decided to do Pitch B – the invisible boy. I think it would be really funny to be invisible one day and play pranks on my family.
